A customer requested information on how to install one of these, so I created these diagrams to assist in the installation.
**The options With an amplifier AND with music: the music does not have to run thru the UTI-1 device, rather it can run thru the amplifier, depending on the type of amplifier that you are using, and its inputs.
** This is a SINGLE ZONE paging interface, meaning even if you have speakers connected to both outputs, all pages will reach all of the speakers connected to this device. For multi-zone paging applications use a UTI-312 instead of a UTI-1. This provides 3 separate zones out of the box, and is expandable 3 zones at a time for a total of up to 12 separate paging zones.

ReplyDeleteVonage instructed us to purchase SNOM pa1, Bogen UTI-1, Bogen C-20 amplifier, and three loud speakers as paging solution.
Vonage only provided instruction for SNOM setup.
I can get one speaker working with SNOM as it has built in amplifier. But there are no instructions on how to connect the SNOM to the UTI-1 to the C-20 to the speakers.
This blog is the best source I could find on the internet but I still have question on answered by the information above.
Can you help me?
